6 Songs that Will Teach you Life Lessons
Music, as many have said, is the universal language. And when that universal language is used to convey pieces of wisdom and experience— that’s where, I believe, it becomes impactful and a power force for good.
As a songwriter myself, it’s what I have focused my craft around. The more life I live, the more I feel the need and responsibility to translate what I have learned into song. More often than not, these days the music I make is centred around one question: What have I learned and how can that help others in their own lives as fellow human beings?
And as a music lover and avid listener I have been privy to what is the eye-opening, perspective shifting, heart lifting MAGIC that is hearing a song that is not only beautiful in its own musical right— but that is teaching you a valuable life lessons as it plays. A lesson that transcends individual status, identity and means… Something fundamental that being alive inevitably grants you the task of uncovering.
In a way, listening to these kinds of songs feels like a little shortcut into the awareness of the heart of life; what really matters at the end of the day— or at the end. Period.
